Toni Armstrong
Leadership

Toni has coached high level club and college, earned her Masters in Experiential Education from Minnesota State Mankato, and has worked for both Outward Bound and The Stanford Leadership Institute at Stanford University. Her passion is in group dynamics, female empowerment, leadership and experiential educational.

Through play based learning practices, she makes learning leadership fun, collaborative, and community building. Toni resides in Baltimore, MD with her husband Scott and two children Owen and Evelyn.

Dr. Megan Canon
sports psychology

Dr. Megan is a sport psychologist who helps athletes reach their potential on and off the field. Growing up as a swimmer and dancer, she experienced the demanding pressure of training and competing, along with the impact it can have on performance. In her path to find a solution, she entered into a Ph.D. program in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University and began her mission to assist athletes and high-performers in achieving strong emotional health and peak performance. 

Megan grew up involved in club swimming and currently works with many club and collegiate swim teams around the US. She resides in Allentown, PA.

Nila Mechali
Yoga & mindfulness

With enthusiasm and grace, Nila brings her strong athletic and dance backgrounds together with a results-oriented yoga class.  She has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and completed her 200hour Teacher Training in Baltimore with a solid Baptiste-inspired Power Vinyasa education.  She brings an outside perspective to the sport of swimming and specializes in swimming specific mobilization, neurological reprogramming, and accelerating recovery.

Nila is the go-to Yogi for Johns Hopkins University Athletics because of her ability to connect yoga to the physical and emotional needs the athletes. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Stephen and two daughters Maia and Aria.


The Total Performance Package

90 Minute Yoga & Mindfulness
2 hours of Sports Psychology and Leadership Development

Start or end your day with a sunrise or sunset Yoga & Mindfulness teaching at the pool, on the beach, or in a beautiful park. Whether focusing on a power flow or recovery, the class is geared towards the athlete’s needs.

Then train the mental side of our sport with a two hour session of Sports Psychology and Leadership Development—this can be on a different day from yoga. We will focus on empowering athletes with tools for addressing individual and team challenges. This part of the program is being offered at a variety of locations and will be booked at the classroom closest to you (see below for locations). Topics can vary depending on the team’s interests and needs.

Sport Psychology Sample Topics:
* Performance Anxiety
* Being Mentally Prepared Before, During, and After Competition
* Confidence

Leadership Sample Topics:
* Finding Your Leadership Voice
* Why Failure is an Important Element in Success
* High Performance Group Dynamics
* Approaching Conflict

Cost: $1,200 for up to 60 Athletes (Add $12 per athlete for a luncheon session—food catered by Jimmy Johns— and permit costs for yoga TBD)


The Sports Psychology & Leadership Package

2 Hours of Sports Psychology and Leadership Development

In this program, we will train the mental side of our sport and empower athletes with tools for addressing individual and team challenges. This program is being offered at a variety of locations and will be booked at the classroom closest to you (see below for locations). Topics can vary depending on the teams interests and needs.
